The Spider and the Bee

Said the spider to the bee

'Would you like to come to tea?

There is something on the menu that's a treat

It's not pollen, it's not honey

And you can't buy this with money

It's delicious, it's delightful. It's a treat'

The bee was taken in

Then the spider gave a grin

As his guest arrived and waited to be served

In seconds he was trapped

In a silk cocoon was wrapped

He was eaten. Now is that what he deserved?

Oh what a gruesome fate

To be on spider's plate

To be trapped in a silk jacket like a mummy

Not a happy situation.

With no hope of your salvation

As you perish in a hungry spider's tummy
