We played on the grass

We played on the grass of Trinity Hall

Enveloped in summer air

Croquet mallet, wooden ball

A day without a care

I was a giant loud and tall

But you were hard to scare.

We punted on the River Cam

For we had time to spare.

Into the shade we had to crawl.

A moment brief and rare.

No energy.  We'd used it all

What a time to share
