ABOUT ME
I taught English Language and Literature for around thirty eight years to GCSE and A level students. I spent two years in Coventry, six years in Somerset and twenty eight years in Essex. I also spent a year on exchange to Gibsons, B.C, Canada on teacher exchange.
I have been married to Carol for over forty years. I have two daughters who have between them four boys and one girl all aged seven and under at the time of writing. Busy, busy.
I have always tinkered with writing but now I have more time to play. I have written poetry, plays, librettos for school musicals, songs for pantomimes, short stories and longer prose pieces, some examples of which are on display here.

I published the poem 'A Christmas Carol' as an e-book in December 2014 and have had some very positive feedback. It started as a simplified version of the original Dicken's tale but developed into a more detailed transformation.
