Block up my ears.  Gouge out my eyes.

I hate the word 'Incentivize'.

'Encourage,' 'motivate', 'inspire.'

In every country, state or shire

Ban that word. It sears my soul.

Bury it in some dark hole.

Pour concrete in that deep dark pit.

So no one can make use of it.

Do not mark its place of rest.

An ugly word which I detest.

Born in nineteen sixty five,

How did they manage to contrive

To publish such an dreadful word?

There on the page like some great turd.

It makes me wince.  It causes pain.

Let's never use that word again.
