Cameron

When I won the general election
I swiftly to Downing Street sailed
So this was to be my great story
You could all see the heights I had scaled

The UK was due resurrection
On Brexit I was then impaled
The blood bath that followed was gory
With the country’s bright future derailed

And I felt the hurt of rejection
The leavers’ lies all thinly veiled
I was going to lead you to glory
But then all of my plans were curtailed

My leadership failed the inspection
As I left the whole country exhaled
A public school toff and a Tory
I dropped you right in it - then bailed

I know there’s a mood of dejection
My critics have ranted and railed
Now I’ll bore you all with the story
With my book that I’m having retailed

I know that I wasn’t perfection
And some say that I should be jailed
But now it is all purgatory
For I am the one that has failed
